WWPass zoom multi factor authentication is a way to increase the security of your Zoom account access using WWPass technology instead of traditional passwords or SMS codes.
If Zoom has enabled multi-factor authentication (MFA), instead of entering a password and receiving a one-time code, you can verify your identity with a WWPass Key — either the WWPass Key App or a physical WWPass key. When you sign in, Zoom sends an authentication request, and WWPass verifies that it’s really your key using a unique digital ID. You confirm access, for example, with a PIN or biometrics on your phone, and you’re securely logged into Zoom.
This works just like other MFA methods, but without passwords or SMS messages:
• your WWPass key acts as the first factor,
• your PIN or biometrics as the second,
• and Zoom only receives confirmation after successful authentication.
The advantage of this approach is that no passwords are stored in Zoom or elsewhere, no SMS codes are required, and the risks of phishing and credential harvesting are significantly reduced. This makes Zoom login more secure and convenient, especially for organizations that value video security and account protection.
